EPUB metadata editor
Fix a book's title, author, language, or cover without installing anything. The file is opened right here in your browser and never uploaded, so your books stay yours.
What this tool changes
It edits the EPUB package metadata that reading apps display: the title, the authors, the language, and the cover image (JPEG or PNG). Everything else in the book, from chapter text to styling, passes through untouched. The edited copy downloads next to your original, which is never modified.
Why there is no upload step
An EPUB is a zip archive with a manifest inside, and a browser is perfectly capable of opening one on its own. This page does exactly that, so there is no server, no queue, and no copy of your book on someone else's machine. If the file has DRM, the tool says so honestly instead of producing a broken book.
Made by the people behind Narraloud
We build Narraloud, an iPhone and iPad app that reads EPUBs, PDFs, web articles, and scanned pages aloud in natural voices that run entirely on the device. The same conviction is behind this page: your reading should stay on hardware you own. If you would rather listen to that book than read it, Narraloud is free on the App Store.
